Tim Chally has served in active church ministry for over 30 years and a business career that spanned 38 years. He has served the Lord as a Youth Pastor, a church Elder, a Biblical Counselor, and an Associate Pastor. He is currently the director of Rockies Southwest Bible Church Extension.

Rage!

This Psalm, written by David 3000 ago, rings so true today; Doesn’t it? The people of our world hate God and His anointed one, Jesus Christ. The overwhelming response of the world is hate for God and anyone who claims the name of Christ. David’s confidence in the Lord was unshaken, as he described the results of the nations plotting as, “in vain”. In Psalm 60, David wrote, “Oh, grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man! With God, we shall do valiantly; it is He who will tread down our foes.” Psalm 60:11-12. A simple definition for the word vain is: Useless, producing no results.

Since the fall of man, our enemy has sought to deceive and destroy people through great deception. The deceiver of this world promises life, freedom, and pleasure, but all is in vain, as his lies deliver nothing – resulting in death and eternal separation from God. Millions are blind to God’s truth and the only One who can truly deliver hope, and the abundant life in Christ. (John 10:10) Our calling and message is to proclaim the truth of the Gospel through churches in the Southwest United States. Thank you for your prayers and financial support that enables us to continue in the ministry of the Gospel!

RSBCE Search for Shepherds

I have been very encouraged this summer as God has led me to several contacts with men seeking pastoral ministry positions. We are a faith-based mission and our pastors serve as either bi-vocational shepherds and/or through faith-based missionary support. Please pray with us that God would move in the hearts of men to call the next generation of pastors into the harvest – for His glory!

“And he said to them, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

We are encouraged as a young seminary student has accepted the opportunity to serve the Lord next year as a pastoral intern at South Routt Bible Church in Oak Creek, CO. Please pray with us that God would use this opportunity to prepare him for a life of ministry to the people of the Yampa Valley!

June 2024

A busy ministry month in June culminated with the annual IFCA National Convention held this year in Springdale, Arkansas. This year’s theme for the convention was so appropriate: Proclaim – Equip – Defend.

It was such a blessing to enjoy fellowship and greet ministry partners we know – and to make new friends with co-laborers in the Gospel from around the world.

July 2024

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Nancy and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in July in a similar fashion as we have almost every year of our marriage… we take a family vacation to Northern Minnesota to camp and fish. This year the entire family came with us. All five of our children and their families (25 of us!) came with us to camp together in an 11-bedroom house on a Big Turtle Lake at Arcadia Lodge in Big Fork, MN. Twenty-five of us shared meals, fished, swam, and just relaxed for a week way up north. It was wonderful! The pictures below are just a few highlights of our week. The picture with just our five children is (L-to-R), Annie, Alison, Aaron, Tim, Nancy, James, and Joe. Meals were wonderful as each night a different family cooked up a feast. Plus, we caught lots of fish, so we had massive fish fries two nights for supper, fulfilling God’s purpose for Genesis 1:26a! God is good!

August 2024

2024 South Routt Bible Church Horsemanship Camp

Nancy and I had the privilege to serve as Bible Teachers for the Horsemanship Camp again this summer August 1-4. We had 26 campers, ages 8-13, who learned how to prepare, saddle, and ride their horses. We taught a one-hour Bible lesson 5 times daily to 5 different groups during the camp. By the end of the week, we were ‘horse’ tired. God was faithful to His Word as we knew several campers who made decisions for Christ during the week. We enjoyed serving with Ronnie and Becky Moyer (Rodeo Chaplain) to teach the life of Christ as lessons this week. Nancy shared a missionary story about the life of John Paton every day, and together we used our donkey and horse puppets to share Christ’s life through his birth, his life, and his death and resurrection. We arrived home tired, but blessed!
